About Louise Cunningham

MA (SEN), BEd (Hons) PGCert SpLD, AMBDA, NASENCO, QTS, PPM, APC

I am a highly qualified specialist teacher, SENDCO and SpLD (Specific Learning Difficulties) assessor, proudly registered with the British Dyslexia Association (AMBDA) and a full member of PATOSS holding an Assessment Practising Certificate (APC). I am also trained in assessing for exam access arrangements in line with JCQ regulations.

With over 25 years of experience, I have had the privilege of working with children, young people, and their families across primary and secondary schools, as well as in specialist SEN settings. My years as an Assistant Head Teacher and SENDCO have given me valuable leadership experience and a deep understanding of what it takes to meet a learner’s individual needs and support them in achieving their full potential.

As both a dyslexic individual and a parent of a neurodiverse child, I understand firsthand the challenges that can come with learning differences. This personal experience, combined with my professional expertise, drives my passion for helping others navigate the education system with confidence. My goal is to support individuals in recognising their strengths and equipping them with practical strategies that make a meaningful difference in their learning, work, and daily life.
